Bodyshop – Caroline Jones

Hi, I am Caroline and I am a Bodyshop at Home Consultant.  I am based in Kilmarnock but I have customers spread all over, even as far as Bristol and Leicester!  I started my journey with The Bodyshop at Home only 2 months ago and it was absolutely the right time to join!  It has been manic with the release of our Christmas range which is always popular but I am loving it.  I decided to join for 3 reasons…

  1. I am getting married in August next year and even though I told myself it was going to be small and on a budget it hasn’t quite planned out like that!  The commission I have earned so far is going towards all the special little extras I have my heart set on.
  2. I have loved The Bodyshop for as long as I can remember.  Dewberry was the thing when I was at High School!  I must have chocked everyone with the amount I used to pour on myself!  So anyway, I thought “Even if I don’t sell a lot, at least I’ll get all the free products!”  The freebies are amazing and getting paid to use them is just the best job ever.
  3. The Bodyshop’s ethical background….No testing on animals……COTE (Children on the Edge) charity.  All these things make a difference and make The Bodyshop stand out from the crowd.  It makes me feel proud to be part of that.

Please come and say hello on the 18th November,  I will have loads of our lovely products for you to sample or even order if you fancy giving yourself a pamper.  We are always looking to make our team bigger and better so if you think maybe The Bodyshop at Home is something you could do then give me a shout and I will give you all the info!

Thank you!

Scott Dickson – Crossfit Bia 2.0

Some feedback about CROSSFIT BIA 2.0

Recommendations

“If your thinking of trying Crossfit this is a great place to head, Scott really knows his stuff and all the members are so friendly. There are lots of different class times and the workouts are tough but fun (and there are always options if your not quite a pro like me!). I’ve been working in the area and do Crossfit back home and after a week of training at this gym I would happily come again! Thanks guys!”

“Not like any other place to train in kilmarnock.

“Place where everyone helps everyone else. No gym posers. A place to get sweaty and have fun at the same time. All about the community and good friends. Dont be scared give it a go.”

“Top instructors and friendly folk. Different levels for different abilities and form always in check. Nervous about being the newbie but every person in the box is helpful. No egos here just good old fashioned training. If you’re thinking about trying CrossFit you won’t get better than here.”

Let`s Make It Better – Sunlite Cafe

In the last few months we have been very fortunate to spend time with some lovely people. On our travels we met Shelley who is the Project Coordinator at Lets Make It Better – Sunlite Cafe in Stirling. Shelley told us about the work of the cafe and about working with Dynamic Diamond.

Making changes can be really difficult and Shelley herself admits she had become comfortable and did find change quite difficult. We worked with Shelley to help her discuss her fears and also to help Shelley see not only her own potential but also  the benefits change would make within the cafe. Shelley found it quite difficult at first but the more time we spent together the more Shelley grew to trust  not only us but also the changes we were enabling Shelley, her staff and volunteers to make.  Shelley is very open and honest about her thoughts and feelings about the process we worked on together.

As Shelley`s confidence in the process grew, and she became aware of positive changes in her own behaviour and also her staff and volunteers. Shelley really embraced making changes within the cafe. Shelley discusses her thoughts and feelings about the difference working along with Dynamic Diamond has made to the Cafe, herself, her  staff and volunteers.

Shelley, her staff team and volunteers have been lovely to work with and it has been great to see them start to make positive changes in themselves and their enviroment which all has a positive impact on their emotional wellbeing. Shelley has lots of plans for the future and we look forward to working along side Shelley and her team in the near future.
