Anger is a healthy emotion which we all experience and can be caused by our reactions to various internal and external factors. Anger becomes an unhealthy emotion when we have difficulty releasing our feelings of frustration in an appropriate manner. This can have a significant effect on our personal and professional relationships and can have a negative impact on our health and wellbeing and could ultimately lead to a criminal record.
Anger issues not only cause relationship breakdowns and work problems, it can also lead us to become isolated and scared as we struggle to make sense of our own behaviour. We can then experience feelings of guilt and shame around being unable to express our feelings appropriately.
